First impressions were good before we’d even stepped on it. The packaging feels premium and, importantly for a product and, everything inside was properly protected. Setting it up was much easier than I expected too.
The FitDays+ App really impressed us, with 29 Different Metrics sounds like it could be complete information overload. In reality, we found the Fitdays+ app easy to read and understand, and it gave enough detail to make me want to explore what the different numbers actually meant rather than just weighing myself and forgetting about it.
The retractable handle is another reason this feels like a proper step up from a basic set of Smart Bathroom Scales. You’re using contact points at both the hands and feet, giving the system the ability to provide full-body and segmental body composition estimates rather than relying on the foot plates alone.
We must stress that we wouldn’t use these scales to chase a “perfect” body fat number.
We would instead suggest those using Smart Scales to look them as a way to better understand the direction of the numbers moving in the right direction. We live by a phrase that you should seek Progress over Perfection, and this is the same when it comes to weight management also.
