Together We Lift is a coach support event day, allowing you the opportunity to meet like minded people, whilst lifting in equal ability groups, and gain expert advice and tips from some of the best strength athletes and coaches in the UK.

Mental Health Fundraiser – Coach supported training day at The Unit in Ilkeston.

Four coach supported event training stations consist of
- Log & Axle Press
- Traditional Deadlift
- Sled Drag & Push
- Farmers
You will get 40 minutes per event station within your equal ability groups, where the coaches are there to assist you through your lifts.
Our events always conclude with a Tandem Deadlift on our ALFitness Team Deadlift Bar which is a purpose build 47kg stiff Axle Bar, which even under 505kg did not show signs of bend in our event at The Unit last year.

No. Together We Lift is not a competition. There are no rankings, no pressure, and no expectations. The focus is participation, community, and mental health awareness.

Each event supports a local mental health charity or organisation. All fundraising totals and donations are shared transparently after the event.

Yes. These events are built on empathy, understanding, and lived experience. You are welcome exactly as you are, whether you want to lift, talk, listen, or simply be present.

No. Our events are designed to be inclusive and accessible. All lifts and movements can be scaled, and coaches are on hand throughout the day to support you.

Yes. Together We Lift is not about maxing out or competing. Experienced lifters are more than welcome to come along, enjoy the atmosphere, support others, and lift for a cause. Whether you push yourself or keep it light, the day is about connection, community, and mental health, not performance.
